User Guide

Thanks for purchasing the Watch the Gap bot.

If you have subscribed to EasyBetbot( http://easybetbot.com/) in past, then you can go through this manual very quickly. Let’s start the deep dive into the Watch the Gap bot.

Once your open the bot, complete the registration process and click on desktop icon, then you will see the below screen, where you have to input your betfair id and password and click on login.

Select the right betfair in the domain and put your credentials and you will able to login into the Watch the Gap bot.

On the left-hand side, you can see all the markets related to Horse Racing for Aus/NZ,UK, Ireland and South Africa which are available for next 12 hours have been loaded upfront.

There are two views in this bot :- Manual betting & Auto Betting.

See the Manual betting view first.

Wallet – it will show the current balance in your betfair account.

Manual Profit– It will show the overall profit/loss on the manual betting.

Here is the Auto betting view of the bot.

On the auto betting side, you can run up to 3 different back strategies.

You can select countries you want to bet for each strategy.

For example : Back 1 – you can bet only on UK and Ireland, Back 2 – you can only bet on UK etc.

Also, you can tick/untick based on your choice to bet on Handicap / Non Handicap or harness racing for Australia and NZ

Market to bet: You can select the market which you want to bet on- Place market or Win market.

Minimum amount matched: Amount of minimum money should be matched in the horse race for bot to make a qualified selection.

In order to avoid low liquidity races, atleast keep $5000 or more as per your equivalent currency.

Runners: Select the numbers of runners.

Inplay Action : Select either SP or keep as the option – it will ensure your bets get matched before the race starts ( for SP) and during in play (as Keep).

First Favourite min and max price : - You can control the first favourite price range with these parameters, say for example , you want to bet only if the favourite is between 1.5 to 2.5.

Let’s get into staking now. What you see below is the session screen for auto betting side.

When you click on new session, a new window will open.

Session Name: - define the name of the session Like UK_Favourite , Australia_2nd fav etc.

Selection: - you can select first, 2nd or 3rd favorite, depending on what selection you want to bet on.

Reference selection:- Reference should be the other favourite you want to use to measure the gaps between the two horses.

In example above, I have selected that I want bot to bet on First Favourite when the gap is measured between first and 2nd favourite.

Minimum Price Gap :- Minimum gap you want between the selection and the reference selection.

Maximum Price Gap :- Maximum gap you want between the selection and reference selection.

Commission :- You should input the exact commission you are paying to Betfair. Generally, it is in range of 5% to 8% for various betfair accounts.

Betting Start time :- Bet inplay or pre play. I recommend Pre Play.

Seconds : Seconds before the off when the bet should be placed if settings are qualified

Bet type : You can either back or Lay

There are four staking plans which the user can select for each Back 1 , Back 2 and Back 3 when the user is creating any new session.

Stop at a winner staking :- You can set the profit target and the stop loss ( http://stopatatarget.com/)

Diabolical staking ( http://diabolicalstaking.com/) :- the user needs to manually put two fields

Numbers of races
Base Stake

Shorties Staking ( https://shortiesstaking.com/) :- it requires the initial bank user wants to start with.

Level Stakes :- Yes, standard level stakes betting, stakes won’t change.

Let’s say, user selects Diabolical staking with 3 races in one cycle and base stake of 10p, Setting will look like.

After pressing the new session, above screen will disappear and all the information will get saved in the main settings like this.

Now, depending on what countries you want to use this settings for, you can run it accordingly. since we have made settings only for UK in our session, let’s deselect every other country.

This is just an example of complete settings set up for one session, I have reduced the number of runners to 14, Fav price range between 1.5 to 2.5 etc.
Now, press start and the bot will start.

User can modify the current session , when he clicks on the modify current session.

Do any change you want in above field and click Modify current session. New modified session will run as per new settings.

Let’s look at how the manual side works for the Watch the gap bot.

It is exactly the same as auto betting except you have to select the races manually and wait for the results to come before you select the next race.

The only difference you have here is that you can select any previous session and start running the manual betting where you stopped.

When you click load a previous session, the following window will open and you have to select the any session and open.

As you can see above, Bot 1, Bot 2 & Bot 3 profit/loss will be shown separately for each strategy.

Show log :- if you enable show log, then all log will get typed into the bot as well in the log tab. Else you can always find all the log files here.

When you go to above folder, you will see the log files like this.

It is recommended to keep the show log unticked as if you keep it ticked, it will write the log in the bot as well which will slow the bot after few days. You can always access the log file in the folder above.

Show market : - when you tick the show market, it will show the real time odds and horse information on the race. It is only required for your information as bot fetches all data from API.

So, if you are ok, then you should keep it unticked too. It saves bit of API information for you.

Auto Reload : Keep it ticked, it auto reload the markets every 4 hours.

Start button: - Once the settings are set by the user, press the start button in order to start the bot.

Stop button: - press the stop button to stop the bot.

Clear button : when you start betting next day, the bot will start from the same cycle where you left it previous day session when unless you use a clear button and want to start fresh.

If you want to continue the last session, please start with the fresh session.

When you click on software manual, you would have got access to this manual only.

In results tab, you can see all consolidated results for auto betting. Cumulative profit is shown at the top. It includes results for both Diabolical and shorties staking.

Additionally, you can also look at Diabolical and shorties results separately.

With the export button, you can download all results in .csv file.
